Dear Monks, Nuns and Buddhists,

 

Upcoming pilgrimages will be organized and guided by us together with Happiness (Tour & Travels) company in 2024.

We will take you to worship all the important Buddhist holy sites such as; Bodh Gaya (Bodhgaya) (where the Buddha attained enlightenment) and surrounding areas such as Mahacala, Sujata village...; Lumbini (where the Buddha in Kapilavastu were born); Kusinagar (where the Buddha passed away); Deer Park (Sarnath) (where Buddha turned the wheel of Dharma).

In addition, the group also visited important Buddhist holy sites in the Ancient Citadel of Rajagaha (Ragjir) such as Great Tower of Peace, Rajgir Vulture Mountain, the prison of King Bimsara, Truc Lam Monastery, University Na lan da, Nalanda Museum, Huyen Trang temple, That Diep Cave... In ancient Sarvasthi  country, the group will visit the Ky Vien Monastery in the Garden of Prince Ky Da and Mr. Sudatta Anathapindika, the foundation of Mr. Sudatta Anathapindika’s house, Angulimala Tower, where the Buddha performed miracles with pagans. The group will also visit Vaishali (the place where the Nuns Order was founded), Kasaria stupa, pay homage to Buddha's relics at the New Delhi Metropolitan Museum, visit Tajmahal (a wonder of India), Akshardham Hindu temple, the tomb of St. Gandhi..., In addition, if any Buddhist has the means and time, we should visit some more places such as; Himalaya Mountain (Snow Mountain), Buddha Nath (Relics of Padmasambhava), Na Mo Buddha (Where Buddha's previous incarnation gave away His Body to hungry tigers).

 The luggage you can bring along during your journey is as follows:

-A robe for bowing to Buddha at the Buddhist holy sites.

-Personal items such as: wind oil, green water oil, medicine, cold medicine, intestinal medicine, stomach medicine, diarrhea medicine... warm clothes to wear inside and outer jacket, anti-mosquito cream, ice cream sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, socks (when entering the Holy Sites to worship Buddha, you must take off your shoes); Toilet paper, suitcase lock, wallet, toothbrush and toothpaste, coffee, tea, cake, electric socket - round pin, voltage 220v; Vegetarian foods (soy sauce, dry food, sesame salt, peanut salt, pepper salt, seaweed, chili salt, instant noodles, instant porridge, bean powder, vegetarian instant pho...). You can also bring candy and pens to give to poor children in India.

Day 01: USA – Delhi capital (first day) (13-14/11/2024)

  • Flight from USA to Delhi

Day 02: Delhi capital (15.11.24)

Visiting to the important places in Delhi capital as follow

·       Prostrating before Buddha’s relic in Delhi Museum

  • India Gate
  • Rashtrapati Bhavan
  • Lotus temple
  • Gandhi tomb
  • Hindu Akhshardhaam temple
  • Ashokan edict / C 153, Hills Rd, Kailash Hills, East of Kailash, New Delhi, Delhi 110065, India where the Buddha spoke the Sutra of the Four Foundatons of Mindfulness.

Day 03: Delhi - Taj Mahant (16/11/2024)

*Moving to Taj Mahant at 7 am after completing Breakfast at hotel in Delhi, they will visit to Taj Mahant.

* Taking Lunch in Restaurant at Taj Mahant and then they will come back to hotel in Delhi.

  • After checking in hotel, everyone will visit to some holy Buddhist sites as follow:
  • Dhamekha stupa where Lord Buddha taught the first Dharma
  • Chaukhandi stupa where Lord Buddha met five his first students

·       Returning to hotel to take breakfast at 7:30 am

Day 07: Ke Tuc (Chicken Mountain) (20/11/2024)

·       Visiting to Ke Tuc Mountain after having Breakfast at 7 am

  • Where Buddha was received Kusa grass
  • Visiting to international temples around Bodhgaya

Day 09: Bodhgaya – Rajgir (22/11/2024)

Moving to Rajgir/ The Buddha Spent 12 Years to visit to some Buddhist holy sites as follows;

·       Jail where King was kept in a prison

·       Bamboo temple

·       Taking lunch at Hotel

·       Nalanda University

·       Fa Shian Museum

·       Check in hotel in Patna

Group will visit to some Buddhist holy sites as follows;

·       The Relic stupa

·       Visit and take lunch at Vietnam Temple in Vaishali

·       Stopping to visit the Kesariya Stupa where Lord Buddha taught the Sutra “Kalama

Day 11: Kushinagar –Lumbini (24/11/2024)

Having breakfast in hotel at 6 am and then group will visit to some Buddhist holy sites as follows;

·       The Ramabhar stupa

·       Mahaparinirvana temple

·       The temple where Lord Buddha meditated in last time and Where Ananda took water to Buddha

·       Having lunch at hotel in Kushinagar at 10h30 am and then moving to Nepalese border to apply visa)

·       Check in Hotel in Lumbini

Day 12: Lumbini – Kapilavathu (25/11/2024)

·        Walking in meditation to Lumbini garden at 5 am

·       Having breakfast at 7 am

·       Visiting to some Buddhist holy sites as follows;

·       Kapilavastu

·       Ashokan pillar

·       Kudan Nigrodharma temple that King built for Rahula.

·       Pillar where Buddha in the past was born

·       After having Lunch at hotel, group will visit to some international temples

Day 13: Lumbini (26/12/24)

·       Practice and charity

Day 14: Lumbini – Srasvati (27/12/2024)

*Group will move to Srasvati at 6 am.

*Taking lunch at hotel in sravastu and then visiting to some important sites as follows;

•Jetavana

•Grandha Kuti

•Ananda Bodhi Tree

•Sudatta Anathapindika stupa

•Angulimala’s house

*Check in Hotel at Srasvati

 

Day 15: Srasvati – Lucknown – Delhi (28/11/2024)

Group will leave from Srasvati to come to  Lucknown and then to Delhi

From Delhi Airport, group will return to USA.

Day 16: Delhi - Kathmandu (Delhi - Kathmandu) (29/11/2024)

 

·        From Delhi Airport, group will continue to move to Kathmandu.

·       After checking in hotel, group will have  Dinner at hotel in Kathmandu.

 

Day 17: Kathmandu – Buddha Nath (30.11.2024)

After having Breakfast, group will visit to some holy sites as follows;

·       Budha Nath Stupa

·       Taking Lunch at Buddha Nath

·       Shopping

·       Visiting to some other holy sites in  Kathmandu

·       Having Dinner at hotel

Day 18: Kathmandu – Na Mo Buddha - Himalaya (01/12/2024)

·       Visiting to Temple of Na Mo Buddha where Boddha in the past gave his body to hungry tigers

·       Looking the the mountain of the himalaya

·       The group will do charity work in some poor areas.

Day 19: Kathmandu – USA (02/12/2024)

·       After having breakfast, The group will come to Kathmandu Airport to end the pilgrimage to worship Buddhist site.
